Shadow is around eight or nine years and was adopted in June 2020 from the humane society. She was listed as a brown tabby and it turned out that she is a manx with a tail. Although the manx is known for being tailless, (rumpy) they can a bump of cartilage (riser) a partial tail (stumpy) a short tail, (stubby) or in Shadow’s case a normal length tail, (longie). Before I found out she was a Manx, I realized she was an exceptional cat based on her very chill manner indoors, and extremely protective manner outdoors. I have seen her run up to the fence and growl if there is an animal (or person) that she considers to be an intruder. She loves to play and is extremely loving and affectionate and enjoys perching on my shoulder. She also enjoys car rides, especially since she knows it will end with a trip through the drive-thru for her favorite treat! She turned out to be the best pandemic buddy I could have ever hoped for during these crazy times! You can follow Shadow and her sister Spring on Instagram @meandmyshadowcat
